Clients
Every semester, TUCG works with clients across Texas from a diverse range of industries.
We aim to help small businesses and government entities grow and succeed.
Client work allows our members to learn from real business owners and leaders while also providing help to organizations.
Meetings
Throughout the first semester of TUCG, new members are required to take part in a six week consultant training course that teaches everything from research to presentation skills to excel.
Our curriculum has been carefully curated through intensive research and experience from firms such as McKinsey & Company.
Client work and problem solving sessions also take place during our weekly meetings.
Workshops
TUCG was created to give all students across UT the opportunity to learn what a consultant does and the skills needed to succeed in any professional environment.
We host three workshops throughout the semester to teach students how to put together the perfect slide deck and utilize excel for professional needs.
Our third workshop gives students the chance to work on a mock client project as we provide a mock dataset and guide you through what the job of a consultant really looks like.
Socials
Every semester we host various social events for our members to take a break from work and projects to enjoy each other’s company through food, games, and festivities.
Our members are also sorted into families for competitions at our socials and other events.
Volunteering
As part of our aim to give back, our members are required to participate in at least one volunteering activity throughout the semester.
We believe that giving back to your community is a vital aspect of creating strong and empathetic leaders.
Each family must also host one fundraising event for a cause of their choice.
Taking care of your community is the cornerstone of leadership, and we strive to help our members achieve that goal.
